Aims: Improve GP referrals for Dizziness
Measures: What data do we all ready have, HES, NHS, SUS, PCT.....?

• GP diagnosis
• GP suggested diagnosis needing exclusion
• Triage GP's opinion regarding appropriate referral
• Triage GPs's opinion regarding appropriate pre-referral tests done
• Consultant diagnosis
• Consultant feedback regarding appropriateness of diagnosis
• Patient wait times at various stages
• Risk analysis

Plan-
Create rough pathway
Obtain access for reviewer specialists from MoM
Test reviewer access
Contact specialists
Give Specialists reviewer access.

Iterative process:
Visit each specialist in turn and discuss.
Ask if they are happy to be referenced for their node.
Test their ability to use reviewer function without our prompting/help.
Record their MoM/Pathway/Review access usability.
Go through the review process together.
Get them to enter comments as if we were communicating remotely.
Edit pathway.
Send to review for next specialist, repeat as above until all done.

Ask all specialists to review and comment.
Ask for Local info.

Get approver access from MoM
Test approver process
D/W Mom and Group about Publisher rights, who and how?.
Show pathway to MoM group.

Get Publisher rights from MoM
Publish
Test

enter Local info

Invite specialists, GPs, MoM Group, MoM et al. to review pathway
Record usability.
Get them to enter feedback.
Test the feedback process.
Risk analysis (patients falling through the cracks etc...)
